In order to create an offering on Wedzig log in, select My Offerings from My Wedzig drop-down menu at the top of your page.

Click on the Add a New Offer button that you’ll see on the newly opened page and simply follow the offering registration process:

Registration on Wedzig.com as well as adding your offerings is free. Pay only when you get orders.

Please note that your offering should be priced on www.Wedzig.com lower or equal to the price that customers can get anywhere else!  

Depending on the category your offering belongs to, you will pay a Wedzig Rate, which already includes the banking transaction fees. It is automatically calculated and subtracted from the price you state when creating your offering:

Vendors may request up to 50% of the service price as a Prepayment. Vendors may request this prepayment sum not earlier than 7 days from the moment of booking by a customer because this period is a free-cancellation period for customers, unless the booking was a 'last-minute'. Vendor prepayments are non-refundable for buyers, except in the event of cancellation by vendor.   

A booking is considered confirmed 7 calendar days after the booking moment when the customer payment method is confirmed and successfully charged. The cancellation of a confirmed booking by a vendor requires intensive logistical support and can impact the high standard of service by which Wedzig’s marketplace operates. As such, in the event of any cancellation of a confirmed booking by a vendor, Wedzig reserves the right to impose penalties on the vendor’s account including an amount equal to Wedzig's actual damages and suspending or terminating the vendor’s account. A cancellation of a confirmed booking by a vendor must be made within the 7-day free cancelation period for the customer and the vendor prepayment must be returned. Failure to comply with the preceding sentence will result in Wedzig charging the vendor the applicable Wedzig Rate. In addition, if any vendor cancels a confirmed reservation, Wedzig may, in its sole discretion, penalize a vendor to make up for any actual losses incurred as a result of the vendor’s cancellation. These losses will include but are not limited to the additional costs required to complete a new reservation for a customer that has been displaced by the vendor’s cancellation. 

Wedzig reserves the right to make adjustments to its cancellation, prepayments and refund policy at any time with no prior notification.  

When a customer books your service on Wedzig.com, Wedzig processes payment automatically using the Stripe payment management system, as its third party provider for payment services such as card acceptance, merchant settlement and related services. This is done to make the payment process easy and secure. Customer will have 7 days for free cancellation. After a customer has confirmed the booking in 7 days, Stripe will process the Transaction Amount and customer’s credit card or debit card will then be charged based on the cancellation and prepayment terms for that certain offering. Wedzig will process the final payout to the vendor in 2 business days after the service delivery by the vendor, withholding Wedzig Rate beforehand.

Once you fill in all necessary information to create your Vendor Account, confirm your email address and accept our Terms & Conditions you will be able to create your first offering. A successful offering includes a detailed description, quality pictures and videos that would tell your unique story to the customers.

We have to insure that all offerings on our platform are authentic and safe for the customers which is why we will request authentication and insurance documents from you. These documents are necessary for verification purposes only and will not be displayed or shared with any third parties without vendor's acknowledgement.

Wedzig allows vendors to create a cancellation policy that works best for each of their offering.   

In case if a customer cancels a booking the cancellation policy is defined as follows: 

  • From the moment of booking, the customer has 7 days for free cancellation*
  • Once Wedzig charges vendor prepayment it is non-refundable.
  • If the customer cancels the booking for an unexcused reason within the period set by vendor - 50% of the remaining amount will be returned to the customer after deduction transaction and banking costs.
  • If the customer cancels the booking for an unexcused reason after the date set by the vendor no amount will be refunded.

Wedzig® will mediate when necessary and has the final say in all disputes.

A reservation is officially canceled when the customer clicks the cancellation button on the cancellation confirmation page, which they can find in My Account> My Orders > Cancel.

We take all possible measures to insure that www.Wedzig.com is a secure marketplace for both vendors and customers. This is the reason why you will be asked to upload a few license and insurance documents when creating an offering. If you want to upload those documents later you can complete the offering creation, save it and add the verification files later by clicking Edit button next to the offering in My Offerings tab.

We will mark your offering as verified on the platform once the uploaded documents are checked and confirmed. Depending on the category you want to add an offering to here are the documents you will be asked to provide:

The Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN), also known as the Federal Employer Identification Number (FEIN) or the Federal Tax Identification Number, is a unique nine-digit number assigned by the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) to business entities operating in the United States for the purposes of identification.

All information and documents you submit for offering verification are reviewed with our automated or manual verification methods. Once you finish creating your offering and upload required documents, it will take one business day to get an approval. Once approved your offering will automatically appear on the website.

When finalizing your vendor account you will be asked to provide bank account details along with a few identification details such as your date of birth or your legal entity’s name. The security of your information is of the utmost importance to us, which is why Wedzig has partnered with a top-certified PCI compliant payments provider, Stripe, to ensure your information is kept safe. All your information will be automatically and securely passed on to Stripe. We will not pass your details to anyone else or use your details for any other reason! Be attentive when typing in your bank account routing number and bank account number since we will transfer your payment based on the details you provide here.

In order to edit your saved offering you need to select My Offerings from My Wedzig drop-down menu and click on Edit button next to your offering.

You can add offerings for any category. Simply select the preferred category from the available list when creating your offering.

You can upload:

  • up to 40 images for Catering, Photo & Video categories
  • up to 20 images for Lighting and Music
  • up to 20 images to the general offer of Banquet Halls + up to 20 images to each package. 

tick  Allowed image extension types are: jpeg, jpg, png, gif.

  Image must be maximum 1 MB.

  Image dimensions should be minimum 600x600px. This is necessary to make sure your Offering looks good on the website.

 

 You can place up to 3 video links from YouTube or Vimeo. Please make sure that you have the usage rights for that media.

At least one of your employees must be certified in food safety by passing an approved Food Safety Certification examination. Your food safety license will be valid based on your State jurisdiction. 

The California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) administers a license for any entity engaging in the sale and service of alcohol. Any person wishing to obtain an alcoholic beverage license should apply at the nearest office of the Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control.

Commercial kitchens used to prepared food or beverages for human consumption will need a health permit, usually obtained from the county environmental health department 

Fats, oil and grease (FOG) in wastewater can result in the decreased carrying capacity of sewers. The FOG Policy is to protect public health by eliminating sanitary sewer system overflows due to FOG and reduce the amount of FOG discharged to the sanitary sewer system while reducing maintenance costs for the Authority’s customers and improving operation of the collection system. Any wastewater, which contains FOG, shall only be discharged into the Authority’s sanitary sewer system with a valid FOG discharge permit.

All food handlers must obtain a permit from a local health department before they are allowed to handle food which will be served to the public.

If you're having trouble signing in, here are some things to check:
●    Clear Your Browser's Cache and Cookies
Your Internet browser's "Help" menu will have instructions for how to clear the cache and cookies.
●    CAPS Lock and NUM Lock on Your Keyboard
Passwords are case sensitive, so "PASSWORD" and "Password" are recognized as two different passwords.
●    Incorrect email address
Your e-mail address must be in this format: username@domain.com (or .net, .org, .edu, etc.). If you have more than one email address, be sure that you're using the correct email address and password combination for the account you are trying to access. Also, if your computer is set to autocomplete the email, make sure it's the correct e-mail address listed.
●    Incorrect Password
If you're sure you're using the correct email address, try to reset your password.

Wedzig uses reCAPTCHA when users sign up to our platform for the first time. You will be presented with pictures, and asked to select a few based on certain criteria.
Note: Why We Do This: The task of selecting a few pictures from all based on certain criteria helps prevent automated programs from accessing your accounts on www.wedzig.com.

You can find messages from customers in your Inbox. Simply select My Messages from the drop-down My Wedzig menu:

You can find messages from customers in your Inbox. Simply select My Messages from the drop-down My Wedzig menu and you’ll find your Inbox, Sent Messages to customers and All Messages.

In order to find the list of orders from customers select My Sales from My Wedzig drop-down menu. There you’ll find the order ID, order status, order date and order total.

Wedzig will transfer your payment (minus Wedzig Rate and minus Vendor Prepayment that is sent earlier) within 2 business days after you implement your service. However, in case of complaints from the customer Wedzig will open a complaint ticket and review the case. In this case, the payment may be held before the case is resolved. 

If you want to remove one of your offerings select it from the offerings list on My Offerings page and press DELETE. Please note that you cannot undo this action. Also, note that you still have to provide the service described in your removed offering if it had been booked prior to deleting.
